CHILL OUT ZONE: Keeping young people safe on our busy streets

Adding to their growing list of hot spots in Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise, @goldcoastyouthservice Chill Out Zone will be set up in Burleigh on Friday & Saturday evenings across the summer season. A quiet, supervised space where young people can rest and get help if needed.

Real Support, Real Change 🚨

The @qldgov Youth Co-Responder Teams are a powerful initiative between Queensland Police and Youth Justice workers, operating 24/7 to engage with young people at risk. They’re out on the streets, in homes, and at community hotspots—building trust, offering support, and guiding youth away from crime.

Their proactive approach is already showing real results, with significant reductions in serious repeat offending.
